Nadia was the BOC Development Manager for 13 years (2010 – 2023) ) during this time overseeing a lot of change and development of the sport particularly in the Pacific.
During her time in the role she introduced the BWF schools Shuttle Time programme to the region which has been a game changer as it has enabled thousands and thousands of children to experience badminton. Through this programme Nadia has trained and supported people in over 12 countries to deliver the programme locally; including delivering virtually during COVID times.
Nadia was also instrumental in securing funding and leading our first Pacific Sports Partnership programme in Tonga, a programme which continues today as Team Up in Papua New Guinea with a focus on inclusion.
Nadia’s impact on the sport of badminton in the region, particularly in the Pacific has been significant as badminton is now a high participation sport across the Pacific.
