Biography:
Badminton is a huge part of Indonesian culture and as my parents played the sport socially, when I was around eight years old, I also started playing.
I instantly fell in love with the fast-paced nature of badminton and how it requires such fantastic athleticism and precision. After a few years I then turned professional when I was 13 years old and shortly after I also made my international debut.
Looking back on the past 15 years since I turned professional, there have been so many highlights including representing Indonesia at 2013 BWF World Junior Championships in Bangkok and wearing the Green and Gold for Australia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Since 2023 I’ve been playing Women’s Doubles with Angela Yu and together we have won several titles together, with another recent highlight being reaching the Quarter Finals of a Super 500 at the PERODUA Malaysia Masters 2024.
Angela and I can’t wait to show the world what we can do when we head to Paris!
