The seeding report and version two of the M & Q for the MAXX North Harbour International 2024 has now been released, showcasing what will be on offer during the third and final week of International tournaments across the Oceania region.
Men’s Singles:
International players in the men’s singles once again lead the way by taking out the top 10 positions before New Zealand’s Edward Lau comes in 11th position. The top two positions are taken by Malaysians Cheam June Wei and Soong Joo Ven, followed by Vietnam’s Hai Dang Nguyen and Chinese Taipei’s Kuo Kuan Lin.

Women’s Singles:
Similar to both the YONEX Bendigo International and Roketto Sydney International, women from India have taken out the top three positions with Anupama Upadhyaya again seeded as number one, followed by Imad Farooqui Samiya and Tanya Hemanth.

Men’s Doubles
In the number one position is the Indian pair of Hariharan Amsakarunan and Ruban Kumar Rethinasabapathi who will look to go all the way to the top step of the podium after recent third place results at the Lagos International Classic and St Denis Reunion Open earlier this year. However, also in contention is a strong contingent of Oceania pairings who round off the top four, which includes Australian duo Jack Yu and Keith Mark Edison in second position and VICTOR Oceania Open Individual Championships Men’s Doubles Champion Huaidong Tang who has paired up with Zewei Xie in third. The top four is capped off with New Zealand’s Adam Jeffrey and Dylan Soedjasa.

Chinese Taipei leads the way with LEE Chih Chen and LIN YEN YU seeded first, followed by Australian Pair Gronya Somerville and Nozomi Shimizu. Fellow Australians Dania Nugroho and Kai Qi (Bernice) are in third position ahead of the Philippine’s Eleanor Christine Inlayo and Airah Mae Nicole Albo.

Mixed Doubles
After securing second position in the mixed doubles seedings for the Roketto Sydney International, Indian pair Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto are now up to first ahead of New Zealand’s Edward Lau and Shaunna Li. To round off the top four are fellow New Zealanders Adam Jeffrey and Justine Villegas in third position, followed by Australians Vincent Lawrencio and Louisa Ma.
