Sporting Achievements:
Ambitions:
I want to improve my sporting career with Badminton PNG and win Gold in any International tournament or competitions in the future. So, I can be an inspiration to people with disabilities and young people, mainly in my home province.
Idols:
I have always looked up to Coach Ian Bridge and admired his coaching skills and encouragement on and off court. He not only coaches us as para-athletes but he trains us like able bodied Badminton players which is an inspiration for me that he focuses on our abilities and talent as para-athletes.
Biography:
I was introduced to Badminton through the athletics and paralympic team in year 2019. Through various Oceania Para Badminton competitions that I took part in over the years, I have acquired confidence in myself and that has changed my mindset as an individual with a disability. I had the opportunity to meet other para-athletes in the Oceania region and have gained shared knowledge for the sport and as a PWD in the sporting industry. Personally, this has improved my self-esteem and confidence in myself.
Interesting Fact:
I am more than grateful that through Badminton and all other partners associated with Badminton PNG, I have received my prosthetics and am going through the therapy process of walking and using it as a general use. This has surely paid off my dedication and commitment towards the sport and the love I have for the sport. I thank you all for the support and I am looking forward to using it soon.
