VICTOR is also a proud sponsor of Badminton Oceania; collaborating on international events and development projects to provide equipment and apparel.
Similarly, the Oceania member associations who completed the BWF Air Shuttle survey earlier this year will receive an allocation from the BWF to kick start AirBadminton in their country in the near future.
The Cook Islands and Guam received their shipment of AirShuttles before COVID-19 lockdown rules restricted freight access. However, both countries have imposed bans on sports-related gatherings, meaning the temptation to play will have to wait for now.

The idea of AirBadminton was to overcome the barriers faced by millions of prospective players due to limited and expensive indoor facilities which can limit participation and development.
“We are excited to integrate the AirShuttle with our Shuttle Time activities. Most players and Shuttle Time sessions take place outdoors across the Pacific and this could be a game-changer”, says Badminton Oceania Development Manager, Nadia Bleaken.
Badminton World Federation (BWF) officiated the launch of the new outdoor game, AirBadminton, in May 2019. By using same rackets but with new outdoor shuttlecock, the AirShuttle, it creates opportunities for people of to play badminton on hard, grass and sand surfaces in parks, gardens, streets, playgrounds and beaches around the world.
“We are very excited as VICTOR Oceania distributor, VICTOR is the first badminton brand to cooperate with BWF to release Air Shuttle which will be soon released in May 2020 and exact date to be confirmed”
“This is going to be fun especially when we have a lot of beaches throughout the whole Oceania and Air Shuttle will definitely attract more people to play badminton from outdoor to indoor”
“It’s very exciting when you imagine you can play at any public park and beach area as part of the outdoor activities” – Paul Lee, VICTOR Sport
A tube of the AS AirShuttle (includes three pieces) will cost approximately AUD 15 / NZD 20 (not including shipping/delivery costs).
