The seeding report and version two of the M+Q for the MAXX North Harbour International 2025 is now available, showcasing what will be on offer in the first week of the International Challenge tournaments across Oceania in October. With 174 players competing from 15 countries, the tournament is shaping up to be full of excitement.

WOMEN’S SINGLES
Chinese Taipei once again dominates the top five rankings, taking all spots atop the seeding list.
Tung Ciou-Tong leads the way. The world number 54 made the finals of both the YONEX Bendigo International 2024 and the ROKETTO Sydney International 2024 but bowed out in the round of 16 at last year’s MAXX North Harbour International. After several HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 and Super 300 appearances this year, she is poised for a promising performance next week in Auckland.
Compatriots Chen Su Yu, Wang Yu Si, and Yi En Hsieh complete the top four.
The highest-ranked Oceania player is Tiffany Ho (AUS), who enters the competition as the seventh seed. Ho will want redemption from her last match at the Harcourts Cooper & Co Badminton North Harbour Centre, where she fell to Shaunna Li (NZL) in the final of the VICTOR Oceania Championships 2025. The trans-Tasman rivals are both in the draw for the MAXX North Harbour International.
