Biography:
I lost my legs in an accident in 2010. When I was recovering at the rehab hospital, a wheelchair basketball player invited me to try wheelchair basketball with them. When I went there, I was surprised to see many people in the wheelchair playing basketball and having fun with their friends. I liked it and joined the club. I played basketball for a short while until I discovered wheelchair tennis. I decided to switch to wheelchair tennis. At that time, I was completing my final years of high school. I had to pause sports so I could focus on my studies. Not being able to participate in sports for some time impacted my mental and physical health. A good friend of mine invited me to come and play para-badminton with them. Since then I have been playing badminton and enjoying it a lot. Playing badminton has enhanced my mental and physical health significantly. I have also learned great things that help me in my daily life. The badminton community is really great and supportive. The international badminton community is also friendly. I want to play badminton for as long as I can play.
Interesting Fact: I sing in a community choir. I like arts and creativity. I know around five languages.
