From 11-17 February 2019, the VICTOR Oceania Championships 2019 will take place at the Melbourne Sport and Aquatic Centre, starting with the individual event (11-14 February) before the team competition takes place (15-17 February).
The seedings for the team event are now available, based on the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Rankings commencing Tuesday 8 January. The reigning Junior and Open champions will enter the event as number one seeds, following a win for Australia in North Harbour, New Zealand at the 2016 Open Team Championships, while New Zealand won the Junior Team event in Noumea, New Caledonia in 2017.
