After a three-year break due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the HSBC BWF World Tour 300 event is returning to Sydney’s Olympic Park in November 2022 with a new title sponsor.
Meet SATHIO GROUP Australian Badminton Open 2022 – “A new chapter of badminton in Australia.The Sathio Group is the Title Sponsor for this final year of the ABO Super 300. For the new World Tour cycle 2023-2026, the Sathio Group will lift the ABO to a Super 500 level” says Loke Poh Wong, Tournament Director and Badminton Oceania President.
$180,000 (USD) prize money is available and for eligible players, the tournament is part of the Oceania Tour 2022.
