The BWF in partnership with the World Academy of Sport (WAoS) have combined to offer yet another unique educational pathway opportunity for badminton athletes and aspiring administrators within the community.
Member Associations and National Para Badminton Organisations are invited to submit applications for the following programmes for 2021:
- Bachelor of International Sport Management Degree (Application process extension).
- WAoS Athlete Certificate.
Bachelor of International Sport Management Degree
Following on from the first application process ending in 20 August 2021 (see our Memo of 2 July), BWF and WAoS have extended the application process due to the preparation of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Game. For this reason, we would like to extend the opportunity to those who are still interested in applying for the February intake.
One (1) fully funded scholarship and four (4) 25% scholarships are available for the Bachelor of International Sport Management degree offered by WAoS and Federation University. This course appeals to individuals looking to launch their careers in the sports industry and builds upon the Athlete Certificate and Post Graduate Certificate Scholarship Programmes previously offered by BWF and WAoS.
