The time, the sweat, the devotion, and the exertion you put into the sport, will always pay off in the end. I always say that because I am many things in NMBA, and it always pays off in the end, to see how much badminton has gown 4 years ago compared to now, it has grown and developed so much, to the point it is known and recognized by others who didn’t know there is badminton in this island.

Biography:
I have started badminton in 2011, Nadia Bleaken introduced Shuttle Time to NMBA. I joined a 2 week long summer camp, and enjoyed playing the sport. After a year of just playing the sport, I started to join tournaments and realized how much I loved the sport, and then started being competitive. In 2019, it was my first off island competition besides Guam, to play in the Pacific Games that was held in Apia, Samoa. After i started to get more involved in my badminton career. I became a shuttle time teacher and tutor and have managed many local tournaments. In 2022, I won NMI very first medal in the pacific, placing bronze in the women’s doubles in the 2022 Pacific Mini Games that was held here in the NMI. With that, I started to focus more on youth players, and gaining more international experience. In 2023, I attended a Coaching Level 1 course, that will help me develop my coaching skills, and as well first appearance of NMI in the Victor Oceania Championships. As well as been selected as one of the female coaches in the Oceania to attend the BWF Coaching Conference in Denmark.
Interesting Fact:
Besides badminton, I like to use my free time in going to the beach, and hiking.
